Project Description
Shawanaga First Nation has been operating a success walleye hatchery and river monitoring program within the Shawanaga River for over 2 decades. Using a combination of floy and acoustic tags we hope to understand where these fish are traveling and how the hatchery has contributed to the walleye population on eastern Georgian Bay.
